Our story

OasisLtd. started as a DIY internet music label in 2020. We gained a following for our hydrodipped merch and unusual release formats. This DIY ethos inspired our approach to creating our brick & mortar shop, which we opened in April 2023 with our personal record collection, $1,200 worth of lumber and a dream.

Our store is home to a wide variety of analog media, including vinyl records, cassettes, CDs, and vintage video games and consoles. With around 700 sqft of retail space at our disposal, our collection is small but well-curated.  Here, you can expect to find a wider collection of vaporwave and Japanese imported vinyl than at most other record stores in Western North Carolina!

Do you buy used vinyl?

Yes! We buy used vinyl in excellent condition from the 1960s to the present. While we like to carry a little bit of everything, we specialize in underground internet music genres, city pop, hip-hop, pop, electronic, rock, and jazz music genres. We do not typically sell much classical or broadway music, however we are happy to look at records from any genre that are in excellent shape!

You can bring your records by the shop anytime we are open or shoot us an email with a list of your items and their general condition to see if we would be interested. For more than a few records, we will generally need 1-2 business days to assess their value and condition. We will make you a fair offer based on their condition, market value, and demand in our store. We generally offer approximately 30% of the expected retail value for cash sales and 40% for store credit.

We also buy cassettes, cds, music-related VHS, vintage video games and consoles, and used stereo equipment. The latest generation consoles we're interested in from Sony & Microsoft are X360 & PS3. We'll take anything Nintendo, including current gen Switch games & hardware.

Can you fix my turntable?

Possibly! We’re able to do most basic and some more involved turntable repairs. Our time for repairs is fairly limited, so it’s best to reach out or stop by the shop to inquire before bringing us your turntable. We’re happy to provide you with a quote!
